The Republic of Srpska

Today, on the occasion of the 29th of May, the International Day of UN Peacekeepers, the reception was organised for the police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior who participated in UN peacekeeping missions in the world. There are currently seven police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in UN peacekeeping missions in South Sudan, Congo, and Cyprus. Today, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Darko Ćulum, expressed his gratitude to their former participants for the fair and professional engagement. In addition, Director Ćulum stated that 71 police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior had participated so far in the peacekeeping missions in six countries, and that the Republic of Srpska Police would continue to participate in peacekeeping missions and contribute to peace and stability in threatened areas.
