Administration for Police Training of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with International Center for Criminalistics and Criminological Research, has organized 11th International Scientific Conference entitled ”Modern methods and tools of forensic crime scene investigation” on June 9, 2017. The Head of Administration for Police Training, Mr Mile Šikman, said that the Ministry of Interior organizes various types of professional and specialist trainings concerning application of modern methods for detection and proving a criminal offence, and that it possesses appropriate equipment. The President of the Management Board of the International Center for Criminalistics and Criminological Research, Mr Mile Matijević, that several modern methods were presented at the Conference, such as super-constructive criminal offence expertise using 3D technology. The purpose of the Conference is demonstration of modern methods and tools that are used or could be used in crime scene investigation, along with improvement of present practice of acting at the crime scene with the aim of providing quality material traces relevant for further expertise and possible reconstruction of the event.
