800x600 Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Darko Ćulum, participated today in the start of the voluntary blood donation action that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior is organising in cooperation with the RS Blood Transfusion Institute.Director Ćulum pointed out that 340 police officers from all police administrations in the Republic of Srpska will take part in the action that is being organised on this day and the day after, and that among these police officers there are some who donate blood regularly, every three months. He emphasised that the fact that the RS MoI organises this action in the summer period is of particular importance, since the blood supplies of the RS Blood Transfusion Institute are lower in this period.The Institute Director, Ms Gordana Guzijan, said that the action is organised in all ten cities in the Republic of Srpska where the organizational units of the Institute exist. She pointed out that the Institute traditionally has excellent cooperation with the members of the MoI who are one of the most frequent blood donors.RS MoI member from Prnjavor, Ms Alma Muhić, expressed her satisfaction for the participation in the voluntary blood donation action. She donated her blood today for the thirteenth time and invited everyone who have the possibility to give their contribution in this type of humanitarian actions. The RS MoI has been organising voluntary blood donation actions twice a year for several years now.
