MINISTER LUKAČ GAVE DETAILS ABOUT EXPLOSION IN BANJA LUKA

At the press conference, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, said that the explosive device placed under car was activated in Starčevica, a neighbourhood in Banja Luka, and on that occasion, two persons suffered light injuries and two cars were set on fire.Minister Lukač pointed out that it was not a terrorist act.’’The public should not be upset and this criminal offence is not related to terrorism. This was a targeted attack on a person, and explosion occurred when they started the car’’, Minister Lukač explained.He added that the driver of the car, under which explosive device was placed, was injured, as well as one passer-by.Minister Lukač pointed out that the investigation was in progress and that it was too soon to discuss the motives of this attack. He added that more details would be known after the investigation was completed.The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Darko Ćulum, said that one injured person was previously known to police since a criminal report was submitted against them for committing criminal offence of ‘Causing General Danger’.   Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
