Today in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, welcomed the cadets of the XIX class who signed the contract on the start of the basic police training at the Police Academy.Minister Lukač said that the objective of admission of new cadets is to renew the personnel of the RS MoI and that this is the biggest class of cadets so far. He emphasized that all 226 cadets who complete the basic police training will be employed, 214 of them with the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior and 12 cadets with the Brčko District Police.The Head of the Police Training Administration, Mr Mile Šikman, explained that the cadets will go through several stages of training during the following 13 months, and that they will take the final exam after the training completion. He emphasized that the training is complex and that it will enable the cadets to acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge, significant for the performance of their future vocation. The Chief of Brčko District Police, Mr Goran Pisić, said that the cadets from Brčko have been attending the police training at the RS MoI Police Academy for the past two years, and that eight cadets who have completed the basic police training last year have already been employed.Cadets Maristela Dragović and Nemanja Kljajić have pointed out that the dynamics of police duties and the possibility to be in service to the security of citizens have been their greatest motives to choose the career of a policeman/policewoman.   Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
