800x600 Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Darko Ćulum, and the Head of Administration for Countering Organised and Serious Crime, Mr Darko Ilić, held the press-conference regarding the implementation of the action ‘’Pyramid’’ aimed at detecting of criminal offences of trade and abuse of narcotic drugs. The action was implemented by the members of the Administration for Countering Organised and Serious Crime, in cooperation with the members of police administrations Banja Luka, Istočno Sarajevo and Prijedor and the members of SIPA.Within the action, 23 locations were searched in Banja Luka, Prijedor, and Istočno Sarajevo (the Republic of Srpska), and in Visoko and Sanski Most (the Federation of BIH). Eighteen persons (18) were arrested whose initials were the following: M.H. (1978), D.S. (1984), M.P. (1983), D.M. (1979), T.N. (1975), M.D. (1981), V.Ž.(1984), J.H. (1993), D.M. (1981), O.K. (1982), N.J. (1973), N.Š. (1970), Z.Š. (1958), D.Ž. (1991), D.Ž. (1971), B.M. (1962), N.B. (1982), and E.B. (1969).Certain amount of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and speed was found and seized during the last seven months within the implementation of the action ‘’Pyramid’’ with the aim of collecting evidence against organised criminal group.Within the legal deadline, arrested persons shall be handed over to the competence of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka.
