Today, after the central ceremony held on the occasion of marking the patron saint of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, expressed his sincere congratulations to all members of this Ministry.After the memorial service, Minister Lukač and Police Director, Darko Ćulum, placed wreaths at the central memorial to all fallen members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. The wreaths were then placed by the Republic of Srpska President, Mr Milorad Dodik, Speaker of the Republic of Srpska National Assembly, Mr Nedjeljko Čubrilović, delegation of the Republic of Srpska Government led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, as well as the delegation of War Veterans Association of the Republic of Srpska, Association of Camp Prisoners of the Republic of Srpska, Third Infantry Regiment, and Mayor of the City of Banja Luka, Mr Igor Radojičić.The Republic of Srpska Prime Minister, Ms Željka Cvijanović, said that the Government is committed to strengthening Police, as showed in past, since it  is, along with other institutions of the Republic of Srpska, the holder of its vitality, present, and future.On this occasion, the Republic of Srpska President, Mr Milorad Dodik, said that it was important to remember all those who lost their lives as the members of the Republic of Srpska Police at the moment of its creation and to honour them since they gave their lives for its foundation.‘’ It is therefore important that we are here and we should not give up on such markings, because if we do not remember those who gave their lives for the Republic of Srpska Police, we will lose its strength ‘’, President Dodik said.
