Today, in Banja Luka, the Director of the Republic of Srpska Police, Mr. Darko Ćulum , hosted the ninth regular meeting of the  Strategic Forum of the prosecutor’s office and police bodies senior officials. During the meeting, the officials discussed the problem of a large number of criminal offence reports determined to be false after verification. Most of these false reports, which pose no actual threats to the citizens, imply engagement of a significant number of police officers and prosecutors. Concerning the factual situation described, it was concluded that it was necessary to reinforce the engagement in solving the cases of false reports of criminal offences, as well as processing perpetrators. In addition, the officials discussed the initiative of the Strategic Forum to amend legislation in respect to the implementation of special investigative measures and actions towards convicted fugitives. In order to continue the successful cooperation of the members of the Strategic Forum, the officials discussed the work plan for 2018. The meeting of the Strategic Forum in Banja Luka was attended by the acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Ms. Gordana Tadić, Chief Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Mahmut Švraka, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of the FBiH, Mr. Tihomir Jurko, Chief Prosecutor of the Brčko District, Mr. Zekerija Mujkanović, Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, Mr. Perica Stanić, Brčko District Police Director, Mr. Goran Pisic, and Director of the Federal Police Administration, Mr. Dragan Lukač.   Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
