The Republic of Srpska

Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Darko Ćulum, participated in the fifth Forum of South East Europe Police Directors and European and international agencies, held in Rome on 12 and 13 December 2017. The Forum was organized by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Italy and EUROPOL.Delegations from 12 countries and four agencies attended the meeting. They discussed the contemporary security triggers and threats, with particular emphasis on organized crime, terrorism, trafficking in human beings and smuggling of migrants.During the meeting, they pointed out the good cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and their Italian counterpart in fight against terrorism and organized crime through operational cooperation and cooperation through various projects and EU support instruments.Apart from the representatives of the RS MoI, the representatives of the ministries of the interior of Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Hungary also attended the Forum.
