On 15 December 2017, Police Administration Doboj submitted a report to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office against one person from the Federation of BiH on grounds of suspicion that they committed a criminal offence of “Crime against Humanity”. There are grounds for suspicion that, during the armed conflicts in BiH, from July to December 1992, this former high-ranking officer of the Army of BiH participated in making decisions on approving the use of rocket artillery for non-selective shelling of civilian targets in Doboj city centre, which is contrary to the rules of the International Humanitarian Law and Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War. In Doboj city centre, thirteen civilians were killed and eighteen wounded by the artillery projectiles fired from the Army of BiH positions. In the previous period and in relation to shelling of the Doboj city centre, Police Administration Doboj has submitted three reports against ten persons on grounds of suspicion that they have committed criminal offences of “Crime against Humanity” and “War Crime against Civilian Population”.     Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
