The Republic of Srpska

On the occasion of celebration of 9 January, the Republic of Srpska Day, Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior undertakes enhanced security measures in order to maintain a favorable state of security in the coming period. We invite all citizens of the Republic of Srpska to celebrate the Republic of Srpska Day in peace and dignity. We advise citizens who choose to follow the parade on Tuesday 09 January 2018 in Banja Luka to follow the orders of police officers and to not carry any pyrotechnic devices and other dangerous items with them because they will be seized. We advise citizens that, for easier movement and avoiding the creation of crowds, they do not carry backpacks and bags, and that they make sure they have an identification document along with them. We remind representatives of media, other subjects, as well as citizens that, for the safety of the participants, on 9 January 2018, on the territory of the city of Banja Luka, the use of drones will be prohibited.
