The members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior participated today in the solemn parade on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Srpska. Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Darko Ćulum, said that the preparations for the solemn parade lasted one month, and that nine police echelons participated in the parade. Also, he stated that the RS Ministry of the Interior has undertaken all the necessary measures and activities in order to provide safe and secure celebration, and that more than 700 police officers were in charge to secure the gathering. The Colour Guard made of the police members of the Guard of Honour participated in the parade. The Guard of Honour consists of the police officers of the Administration for Protecting Persons and Buildings and Police Administration Banja Luka, police officers of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit, police officers of the Unit for Support from the police administrations Banja Luka, Gradiška, Prijedor, Bijeljina, Zvornik, Istočno Sarajevo and Foča, police officers of the Special Police Forces of the police administrations Banja Luka and Prijedor and cadets of the 19th class of the Police Academy.
