Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, visited today together with the Republic of Srpska Prime Minister, Ms Željka Cvijanović and President of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Milorad Dodik, the ”Zalužani” barracks where the works on reconstruction and construction of the new Training Centre are in process. Minister Lukač announced the opening of the Training Centre on the Republic of Srpska Police Day, pointing out that it represents a unique complex that no other police agency in the regional has. Describing the complex, the Minister reminded the public that the RS Government has provided 3 million BAM that will be invested in the ”Zalužani” barracks to provide equipment, premises, facilities and the training ranges, representing completion of the contents that will be used by the RS MoI members. Lukač said that this Training Centre will provide full working capacity for all the administration and the units located there, along with better results, and the Training Center itself would provide training for all the police structures of the MoI. Prime Minister Cvijanović said that the works on reconstruction and construction of the Centre are going as it was planned, and that the part of works left behind would be finalized after the completion of the proceedings in the Procurement Review Body.     She added that the Centre will provide one unique location for a big number of people who are now dispersed in many locations and contribute to their better organization. She also expressed her pleasure that Srpska will have one such modern center. President Dodik said that the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Police, established in accordance with the Constitution and the legislation of the Republic of Srpska, has been located in inadequate premises and that this construction represents improvement of conditions of accommodation and work of this Unit.
