As part of marking of the Republic of Srpska Police Day, Ministry of the Interior organized today, 30 March 2018, in Banja Luka, promotion of 33 cadets of the 6th class to members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit.On this occasion, Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, said thatin the following months this class will be trained in the Training Center in Zalužani and will then be deployed to their units. He added that the new class represents reinforcement to the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit and contribution to the security in the Republic of Srpska.Head of the Administration for Police Education, Mr Mile Šikman emphasised that the cadets had taken the oath earlier today after successfully completing basic training for police officers where they spent 13.5 months.Today, in the Administration for Police Education, three cadets with the highest marks, Dušan Bubulja, Petar Karan and Sreten Ristić, received awards and all the cadets were presented with decisions on their appointment. Promotion of the cadets was attended by the Director of the Republic of Srpska Police, Darko Ćulum, and numerous high-ranking officials from the Republic of Srpska MoI, and notable persons from public, political, scientific and social life of Srpska.
