The Republic of Srpska

Representative of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior participated in a two-day regional workshop held in Bukurest on May 14 and 15, 2018. The topic of the workshop was ”Statistical records in criminal judiciary on cybercrime and electronic evidence”, and it was implemented in the framework of the iProceeds project. On this occasion, the representative of the Ministry has presented the competence of MoI in terms of keeping records on cybercrime, pointing out that the Department for Cybercrime incorporates all the data for police administrations on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, which are later used to draft the RS Strategy for Fight against Cybercrime. In addition, he emphasized that the Ministry is determined to provide further professional development of its employees in terms of improving the work methodology and collection of electronic evidence, placing particular importance to data exchange with judicial institutions, CERT and private sector.  The iProceeds project is financed by the Council of Europe.
