  Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Darko Ćulum, held the first meeting of the Security action headquarters (HQ) formed with the aim of preparing the plan and undertaking measures in the first degree of security on the occasion of the visit of the Russian Federation Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Sergey Lavrov, to the Republic of Srpska. The members of the action HQ, headed by Director Ćulum, are members of the Ministry, and members of other institutions and organisations will be included when necessary for the purpose of providing better security during this visit. During the first meeting, Director Ćulum presented to all HQ members basic measures and actions to be undertaken with the aim of preparing the security for the visit of Mr Lavrov. Director mentioned the security measures undertaken for the visit of the Federation Council President, Upper House of the Federal Assembly president, Ms Valentina Matviyenko, which were also implemented in the first degree, and added that the experience from this security action would be precious for providing security during this visit. Based on the suggestions presented by the HQ members, Director concluded the first meeting by ordering security action preparation measures to be undertaken. Minister Lavrov’s visit is scheduled for 16 and 17 September and is going to be held on the territory of the cities of Banja Luka and Istočno Sarajevo.   Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
