MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR SUBMITTED THE AMENDED REPORT ON ‘FINANCING TERRORIST ACTIVITIES’ CRIMINAL OFFENCE

Police officers from the Administration for countering terrorism and extremism of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior have submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Srpska the amended Report against the person whose initials are Z.K. (born in 1973), based on the suspicion that they committed the criminal offence ‘Financing terrorist activities’, Article 300 of the Republic of Srpska Criminal Code. The person is suspected of paying larger amounts of money on several occasions from November 2012 to August 2016, which was then used for performing criminal offences related to terrorism. Z.K. paid certain amount of this money to the account of person whose initials are H.B. knowing that it would be used for committing the criminal offences ‘Public encouraging to participate in terrorist activities’ from article 202a, ‘Recruitment for terrorist activities’ from Article 202b and ‘Organising terrorist group’ from Article 202d, paragraph 2, of the BIH Criminal code, and H.B. was later convicted by BIH Court for committing these. We would like to remind the public that, on 2 December 2017, the police officers from the Administration for countering terrorism and extremism of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior submitted to the Republic Prosecutor’s Office the Report against Z.K. based on the suspicion that they committed the criminal offence of ‘Financing terrorist activities’. Also, on 1 August 2014, the members of Prijedor Police Administration, at that time Prijedor Public Security Center, submitted to the District  Prosecutor’s Office Banja Luka the Report against Z.K. on committed criminal offence of ”First Degree Murder” of two persons in Trnopolje.
