21 ILLEGAL MIGRANTS DETECTED

On 27 September 2018, the police officers of Bijeljina Police Administration detected the total of 21 illegal migrants of younger age in two separated groups, and they illegally entered the territory of the Republic of Srpska from neighbouring countries. Namely, on the territory of Lopare Police Station, 12 migrants were found and checks determined that they were illegal migrants coming from Pakistan (11 of them) and Iran (one of them) with no identification documents. On the same day, on the territory of Ugljevik Police Station, a group of nine illegal migrants was detected; they carried no identification documents, and checks confirmed that they come from Pakistan (7 of them), India (1 of them) and Afghanistan (one of them). In August this year, on the territory of Bijeljina Police Administration, 637 illegal migrants were detected; the largest number of migrants was found on the territory of Janja Police Station - 623 illegal migrants and Bijeljina Police Station II – 315. All detected persons were transferred to the Service for Foreigners’ affairs – Field Office in Bijeljina, or to the Border Police.   Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
