Police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior undertook measures and performed activities for the gatherings that occurred yesterday to pass without major incidents. Only one incident was recorded during the unreported gathering on Trg Krajine. Namely, a few persons who participated in the gathering blocked traffic in some streets. In their further activities, police officers will identify these persons and undertake measures and activities against them according to the law. At this gathering, according to the assessment of the Ministry performed based on photographs made by a drone, there were 7 to thousand people on the city’s main square. On this occasion, we would like to thank all citizens who behaved peacefully and with dignity and followed the rules of conduct. Also, we would like to thank our citizens for the understanding and patience they expressed during the controls and other activities and measures performed by the police officers with the aim of maintaining security situation. About 1,200 police officers were engaged in securing all gatherings, and they performed their duty very professionally. Police officers of the Ministry will be engaged in securing the election process on the whole territory of the Republic of Srpska.
