SECURITY SITUATION ON VOTING LOCATIONS

    The voting process on the total of 2098 locations in the Republic of Srpska passed without disturbances of security situation and major disruptions of public order and peace. From 3 pm to 7 pm, police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior acted upon two reports: - A person whose initials are S.M. disturbed public order and peace in the town of Rogatica by swearing at the president of the election board and a police officer. After that, a minor offence warrant was handed to the person for committing minor offences from article 8 and 24 of the Law on public order and peace. After that, the S.M. committed the criminal offence ‘Assault on the authorized official person’ by threatening to attack the police officer with an automatic rifle. At about 6 pm, the person was arrested, and the police officers are undertaking measures in their competence with the aim of documenting the aforementioned criminal offence. - At 5.50 pm, the president of the election board in the village of Čaršija, in Doboj municipality, contacted the police officers of Doboj Police Administration and said that there was a person whose initials are M.D. at the voting location who was disrupting public order and peace by shouting. The police officers from Doboj 1 Police Station went to the scene and handed to the person the minor offence warrant according to article 7 of the Law on public order and peace of the Republic of Srpska. The election location was not closed because the M.D. left the premises of the voting location at the order of police officers. The police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior are going to secure the election locations until the voting papers are transported to municipality election commissions, and during the night, they will secure the facilities where the municipality election commissions are situated. We would like to remind our citizens that the prohibition of the transport of explosive substances on the territory of the Republic of Srpska would be in force until 6 am tomorrow.    22 ILLEGAL MIGRANTS FOUND ON THE TERRITORY OF BIJELJINA
