SECOND WORKSHOP ‘SENSIBILISATION OF POLICE OFFICERS WHEN REACTING TO SECURITY INCIDENTS AGAINST CHILDREN ON SOCIAL NETWORKS’

  On 25 October 2018, in Banja Luka, members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with UNICEF BiH Office, organized the second workshop on ‘Sensibilisation of police officers in reacting to security incidents against children on social networks’ in the framework of third phase of the project ‘Justice for every child’. The aim of the workshop was introducing police officers with the phenomenology of security incidents on social networks primarily against children, as well as modalities of reacting to these incidents having in mind the framework of criminal law and criminal possibilities. During the workshop, particular emphasis was placed on the specificities of undertaking investigation activities while investigating criminal offences performed on or mediated by social networks whose victims are children. During the workshop, the book ‘Security incidents against children on social networks – criminalist aspect’ intended for police officers acting in these cases, and the ‘Manual for parents for prevention of negativities on social networks’ were promoted. The first workshop in the framework of the third phase of the project ‘Justice for every child’ was organized in Bijeljina, and so far 45 police officers have participated in this type of training.   Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
