The Republic of Srpska

      Yesterday and today, in Tirana, Albania, the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior participated in the regional conference on ‘Addressing Violent Extremism and Radicalization that Lead to Terrorism while sharing Good Prison and Probation Service Management and Practices on Rehabilitation and Reintegration Programmes’.      At the conference, a representative of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior had an opportunity present the Strategy and action plan and intervention in the field of prevention of violent extremism in the Republic of Srpska.         The aim of the conference was to contribute to the improvement of regional cooperation between prison authorities and detention units on prevention and repression of violent extremism and radicalisation leading to terrorism in prisons and detention units.      In addition to the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the representatives of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Justice also attended the Conference.
