The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Darko Ćulum, attended the General Assembly of the South Eastern Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA) in Skopje, since the Macedonian Ministry of the Interior is presiding the Association this year. In the course of the Conference, the Republic of Srpska Police Director held a presentation related to the analytical report on threats in the SEPCA region, as well as the activities of SEPCA regarding the initiative of the European Commission on integrated security management in the WB countries and challenges in information exchange within the international police cooperation. In the meetings held during the two-day Conference, it was evaluated that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior has good cooperation with police forces in the region. Conclusions regarding the future activities that the member states will take with the purpose of strengthening cooperation and security in the region were unanimously adopted at the SEPCA Conference. Reminder: SEPCA is the leading police association of the region and it represents an association dedicated to improvement of police activities in the region. Its objectives include integration of democratic police principles, adoption of modern standards, exchange of information and training of appropriate personnel through education and research.
