MIGRANTS DETECTED WHILE COMMITTING A CRIMINAL OFFENCE

On 13 December 2018, around 2 pm, the police officers from Novi Grad Police Station were informed that, in Poljavnice village, Novi Grad Municipality, several persons were noticed in a weekend home owned by a person whose initials are B.M. Immediately after receiving the information, the police officers visited the aforementioned location, and on the spot they found the following persons: an S.E. (born in 1990) citizen of Iran, an A.R.I. (born in 1987) citizen of Iran, an N.H. (born in 1966) citizen of Iran, an M.B. (born in 1986) citizen of Iran, and a minor citizen of Iran (born in 2006). The police officers from Novi Grad Police Station performed the crime scene investigation and they previously informed the District Prosecutor in Prijedor. After the investigation, the District Prosecutor said that that was a criminal offence of ‘’Unlawful occupation of premises’, from Article 151, paragraph 1 from the Republic of Srpska CC. The four adult migrants were questioned and then, in accordance with the statement of the prosecutor on duty and after informing Banja Luka Field Centre, they were transferred to Dobrljin Border Police Unit. After completing the investigation, a report on the committed criminal offence against S.E., A. R. I., N. H. and M. B.  shall be submitted to the competent Prosecutor’s Office.
