Gacko Police Station received an information that one or more unknown persons stole passenger vehicle brand ‘Nissan’, type ‘X-Trial’ in Bobotovo Groblje village, a location in the border area with the Republic of Montenegro, which belongs to the territory of Nikšić Municipality. Immediately after receiving the information, the police officers of the Administration for Countering Terrorism and Extremism, in cooperation with the police officers from Gacko Police station and BIH Border Police, stopped the vehicle in Avtovac village, Gacko Municipality. On that occasion, there were six persons in the vehicle, for whom it was confirmed that they had illegally crossed the border with the neighbouring country. These persons are the citizens of Morocco, Libya and Algeria. All of them were arrested. The District Prosecutor’s Office in Trebinje was informed about the event, and they ordered the arrested persons to be handed over to the police officers of Border Police Sector, Nikšić Department, with the support of the Joint Center for police cooperation between BIH, Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia, Trebinje Office.
