15 NEW VANS FOR EFFICIENT POLICE WORK IN MIGRANTS' MOVEMENT CONTROL

        Today in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Darko Ćulum, handed over the keys to 15 new vans to the members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit and the Support Unit.        Director Ćulum said that the new vehicles have been purchased to improve the police work in detecting migrants and handing them over to the Border Police and the BiH Foreigners’ Affairs. He stated that the Republic of Srpska Government allocated BAM 870,000 for the procurement of vehicles.       He also added that 4,400 migrants have been detected on the Republic of Srpska territory from the beginning of 2018 until December 26, and that all the migrants have been handed over to the Border Police and the BiH Foreigners’ Affairs.       Director Ćulum pointed out that the Government has established the RS Coordination body for monitoring movement of illegal migrants, emphasising that the procurement of new vehicles will improve police work on the field.
