On 27 December 2018, around 7:30 pm, the police officers from Gradiška Police Administration in Bosanska Street, the municipality of Gradiška, controlled a passenger motor vehicle ‘Renault Laguna’, whose driver was a person whose initials are S.B. (born in 1981) from Gradiška. The passengers in the car were three migrants – citizens of Syria, Libya and Iran who are suspected of illegally crossing the border with a neighbouring country.Based on the order issued by the Court of BIH, the persons were searched, as well as the facilities of the tourist agency and vehicles used by the S.B. During the search, the items were found that could be used as evidence in criminal proceedings.The prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BIH was informed about the event, and they ordered for the S.B. to be arrested, and for the report on the committed criminal offence of ‘People smuggling’ to be submitted after completing the record on the criminal offence.
