       While implementing intensified planned activities regarding solving criminal offences and controlling migrants’ movements, on 1 February 2019, the police officers from Novi Grad Police Station arrested an A.P. (born in 1982) from Bihać, based on suspicion that they committed the criminal offence of ‘People smuggling’.       On that day, around 8.30 PM, in Kulska obala Street, the police officers stopped a passenger vehicle, brand ‘Ford Mondeo’ with a trailer, driven by the A.P.While controlling the inside of a vehicle and the trailer, they found 18 migrants for who it was later confirmed they were the citizens of Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Yemen.      The prosecutor on duty of the BIH Prosecutor’s Office was informed on the event and with their consent, the police officers undertook the necessary measures and activities related to completing and documenting the case file on ‘People smuggling’.        Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
