VIDEO SURVEILLANCE IN JEZERO MUNICIPALITY

      The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukac, and the Mayor of Jezero municipality, Ms Snezana Ruzicic, have officially put into operation the video-surveillance system on the territory of this municipality.      Minister Lukac said that the Municipality financed the procurement of video-surveillance equipment, prepared the locations for camera installation and purchased the equipment for wireless links for data transfer, whereas the Ministry of the Interior developed the elaborate for implementation of the video surveillance system, ensured technical requirements and the premises for storing the video surveillance equipment, recording and archiving the recorded material in PS Jezero.      Minister Lukac added that the installed cameras cover local, regional and strategic roads, as well as the main buildings in Jezero municipality.      Municipality Mayor, Ms Snezana Ruzicic, pointed out the importance of this project for the security of citizens and expressed her content with it. She also added that the project value was BAM 22,000.00 and that it was co-financed by the Agency for Traffic Security that provided BAM 9,850.00.     The overall system consists of 17 cameras, four communication links, video recorder and a work station for monitoring and reviewing recorded videos.
