The Republic of Srpska

On 1 March 2019, at the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, a meeting was held with the representatives of the Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights related to the project ‘Illicit trafficking in South East Europe’, implemented by this Institute with the support of partners from EU. The project ‘Illicit trafficking in South East Europe’ is dedicated to investigating and building capacities with the aim of strengthening the response of criminal justice in the field of illicit trafficking in South East Europe by respecting the priorities and the needs of countries that are the beneficiaries of the project, as well as the coordinated regional approach to this complex phenomenon of criminal justice. In addition to the representatives of the Institute and the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the representatives of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Justice and the Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centre were also present at the meeting. The future steps and activities within the project were presented, as well as the needs of institutions that are the beneficiaries in the field of illicit human trafficking.
