55 ILLEGAL MIGRANTS FOUND IN BIJELJINA

    Yesterday and today, on the territory of Bijeljina Police Administration, the total number of 55 illegal migrants was detected, and they illegally entered the territory of the Republic of Srpska from neighbouring countries.      Namely, in the morning of 5 March 2019, in Raje Banjičića Street in Bijeljina, the police officers from Bijeljina PA detected 20 persons with no identification documents in two separate groups, and the checks confirmed that they were illegal migrants from Pakistan.     Furthermore, in the morning of 6 March 2019, in Miloša Obilića Street in Bijeljina, 35 persons with no identification documents were found in four separate groups, and the checks confirmed that they were illegal migrants from Pakistan (12), India (3), Afghanistan (5), Iran (7), Algeria (1), Palestine (1), Iraq (4), Syria (1) and Morocco (1).      The persons did not possess the certificates on the intention to submit an asylum request, so they were handed over to the inspector for movement and residence of foreign citizens – Bijeljina Field Centre.
