The Republic of Srpska

      The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, talked today with the United Kingdom Ambassador to BIH, Mr Matthew Field, on cooperation and future projects between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and British Embassy to BIH.      The Minister informed ambassador Field that fighting against organized crime and terrorism were still the priorities in the activities of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, and that the special challenge for everybody in future would be providing an adequate response to the migrant crisis in the country.      Ambassador Field said that British Embassy had a long-standing cooperation with the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and other agencies for law implementation, especially through the project of strengthening the capacities for countering serious and organized crime and terrorism with efficient and timely use and exchange of criminal intelligence, which is financed by the United Kingdom Government.       The Minister and the ambassador agreed that it was necessary to fully implement the Operational Agreement of BIH with Europol and establish joint contact points for cooperation with Europol.    Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
