Nemanja Majdov, member of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, won the gold medal in the 2019 Grand Prix held in Marrakech, Morocco in the period from March 8-10, 2019. This event gathered 440 judokas from 67 states. Majdov won the gold medal after winning the final match in the category up to 90 kg against German Eduard Trippel. Quedjau Nhabali, from Ukraine, won the third place.    This is his first gold medal in a Grand Prix or a Grand Slam, and the fifth in his career. Earlier, he won the silver in the Antalya Grand Prix, and bronze in Zagreb Grand Prix, Cancun Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi Grand Slam.
