OPEN DOOR DAY AT ADMINISTRATION FOR POLICE EDUCATION

      On the occasion of marking 4 April – the Republic of Srpska Police Day, the Administration for Police Education of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior organised Open Door Day. The point of this event is to introduce the students of primary and secondary schools, as well as the children from pre-school institutions in Banja Luka, with the activities and the education of police officers and a part of their equipment.        The head of the Administration for Police Education, Mr Mile Šikman, said that the aim of the evening was to develop and improve relations with the citizens and that many research shows that the cooperation was on a very high level and that the tendency was to improve it, too.          Mr Šikman pointed out that the good relations with citizens were one of the best warranties for the safety of persons and property, which is the primary police task.         Today, in addition to introducing them with a part of the equipment and teaching tools used for training police officers, a safe driving polygon and the simulator for securing the seat belt, the members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit also presented exercises with trained dogs to the visitors.             As a part of the Open Door Day, the visitors had an opportunity to view the permanent Museum exhibition of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.        Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
