The Republic of Srpska

     Members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the RS MoI attended the training Legal Aspects of Combatting Terrorism that was held in the period from March 11 to April 5, 2019 in the city of Newport. The training was organized by the Defense Institute for International Legal Studies (DIILS) and participants from 25 different states attended the training.       During the training, the participants gained knowledge and skills in the field of international war law, human rights and freedoms, and the UN conventions dealing with the aspect of terrorism. Specific part of the training included case studies regarding the terrorist attacks that occurred on the USA territory, countering terrorism in England and in France, as well as operation of intelligence services and crisis management.         The participants visited the United Nations building, New York naval militia and other institutions of the Federal State of New York.
