The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior considers that there are enough agencies on the BiH level that can and should deal with the problem of migrations and that there is no need to establish another body or institution that would deal with the problem of migrants’ crisis. The Operational Headquarters reform, as it was announced by the BiH Minister of Security Dragan Mektić earlier today, implies modifications of legal regulations, including the constitutional jurisdictions as well, but it does not guarantee efficient results in countering the consequences of migrants’ crisis. The European Union delegation in Brussels asked for more efficient results in countering the consequences of the migrants’ crisis in BiH and not for the Operational HQ reform.
