The Republic of Srpska

      The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is conducting a voluntary blood donation campaign today and tomorrow, on the whole territory of the Republic of Srpska, i.e. in all units of the Institute for Transfusion Medicine of the Republic of Srpska, in which more than 500 members of the Ministry are going to participate.      Head of Police Administration Banja Luka, Mr. Miloš Brkić, emphasised that a large number of members of the Ministry responded to this action although it was summer and vacation period. Since there is need for more blood in this period of year and voluntary donation of citizens is lower, organising such action is of great importance for citizens.       Ministry traditionally organises such actions three times a year, in which hundreds of members participate, including a large number of those who donate blood for the first time, especially among cadets of the Police Academy.
