The Republic of Srpska

      The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, met today in Banja Luka with EUFOR Commander to BIH, Major General Reinhard Trischak, and his associates.       This was the first inaugural visit to the Ministry by Major General Trischak, who was recently appointed to the position of EUFOR commander.       They discussed present security situation, particularly regarding illegal migration. Furthermore, Minister Lukač informed Commander Trischak about recent organisational changes in the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.       In addition, they also discussed the military exercise ‘’Quick Response 2019’’ in which members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior would also participate.        Minister Lukač and Commander Trischak confirmed their commitment to continue good cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and EUFOR.
