On September 26, 2019 the Republic of Srpska Coordination Body for Monitoring Movement of Illegal Migrants, which was chaired by the Head of Uniformed Police Administration of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Dalibor Ivanić, met with the UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants, Mr Felipe González Morales.Head Ivanić informed Mr Morales about situation on illegal migrations on the territory of the Republic of Srpska and undertaken operative and humanitarian activities in the treatment of migrants.From the beginning of this year until September 19, the Republic of Srpska Police recorded 3, 813 illegal migrants who were handed over to members of  BIH Border Police and the Service for Foreigners' Affairs for further treatment or were found with the statement on the expressed  intention to apply for asylum.The Coordination Body shall continue to implement adopted conclusions with the aim of maintaining safe security situation and improving situation in the area of illegal migrations.
