The Republic of Srpska

     During the operation under the code name of ‘’ECLIPSE IV’’, implemented by the Crime Police Administration of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and Interpol to prevent production and distribution of cigarettes, raw tobacco, and illegal tobacco production and processing, members of Istočno Sarajevo Uniformed Police Administration found and seized 7,000 packs of cigarettes and 150 pieces of methadone.        On December 18, 2019, in Širokari, Trnovo municipality, after inspecting a passenger car brand ‘’Tiguan’’, driven by a person whose initials are B. J. from Foča municipality, police officers of Trnovo Police Station found 7,000 packs of cigarettes, for which the driver did not have documentation.        Person B.J. was criminally processed and a report on committed criminal offences ‘’Illegal Trade’’ against B.J. would be submitted to the competent prosecutor’s office after the complementation of the case.        Furthermore, the day before, in the Oglavak village in Trnovo municipality, police officers of the said police station performed the operation mentioned before and controlled the person, whose initials are H.V. from Goražde municipality,  and found 150 pieces of methadone tablets, which are on the list of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.        The prosecutor of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Istočno Sarajevo was informed about the case. In addition, he ordered that a request for initiating the minor offence procedure against H.
