On the occasion of marking the anniversary of the terrorist attack on Police Station Zvornik, wreaths were laid at the memorial plaque in front of the Police Administration to honor Dragan Đurić, a police officer who was tragically killed on this day five years ago in the terrorist attack. By lighting candles and laying wreaths at the memorial plaque, Zvornik Police Administration sent a message that Dragan Đurić, who was killed in this terrorist attack, must not be forgotten, as well as other members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior who lost their lives while performing their duties with dignity.  Based on the experience from this terrorist attack, the Zvornik Police Administration intensified its activities to take measures and actions aimed at preventing criminal offences of violent extremism and terrorism.  As a result of good cooperation with local community, a joint project of preventive activities of the local community was launched to prevent this negative social phenomenon in order to maintain a favorable state of security in this area. In addition to members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, family members of a tragically killed police officer, Mr Dragan Đurić, laid wreaths on the memorial plaque.
