The Republic of Srpska

  Migrations and activities undertaken in that field, as well as the readmission procedure itself – these were some of the topics of today’s meeting of the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, and the director of the Republic Secretariat for Refugees and Migrations, Mr Marko Aćić. At today’s session, the Republic of Srpska Government adopted the Decision proposal of the Republic Secretariat for Refugees and Migrations according to which the Secretariat shall donate BAM 10,000 to the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior for the procurement of two drones to be used for monitoring the movements of migrants. Minister Lukač thanked for this support, and the director of the Secretariat, Mr Aćić, emphasized the excellent cooperation with the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. He added that finding modalities of providing support to equipping the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior would continue in future with the aim of facilitating the tasks related to migrations. Mr Aćić stated that the Secretariat would improve the cooperation with the Ministry also through organizing various trainings and other activities.
