The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, met today, in Banja Luka, with the newly appointed Director of the Regional Security Office at the USA Embassy to BIH, Mr Philip Nazelrod. On this occasion, police director informed the USA attaché about the activities of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. The topic of the meeting was also the current security situation in the Republic of Srpska and in BIH, with special emphasis on migrant crisis. Another point they discussed was the cooperation of the Ministry with the Regional Security Office so far, which was assessed as satisfactory. The participants of the meeting expressed their hope that such cooperation would continue in future, so they also talked about the cooperation modalities in the forthcoming period. It is important to note that, previously, in cooperation with the Regional Security Office, several trainings and seminars had been organized for the members of the Ministry at the ILEA.
