The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior signed a Memorandum of Understanding with international organization ‘Save the Children’ with the aim of improving the cooperation in the process of providing efficient mechanisms for protecting children from sexual exploitation and abuse online. The common interest of the Ministry and this non-governmental organization is establishing closer collaboration in this process. In order to implement the Memorandum, ‘Save the Children’ will donate high-tech forensic equipment to be used by the inspectors of the Department for countering cybercrime, Crime Police Administration of the Republic of Sprska Ministry of the Interior. Furthermore, this international organization will support and participate in joint initiatives for developing project proposals whose aim is improving the capacities of the Republic of Srpska institutions in the field of children’s safety online. Also, this non-governmental organization will provide trainings for police officers involved in activities related to sexual exploitation and abuse of children online.
