The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Belgrade, Serbia, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, and the Republic of Serbia Police Director, Mr Vladimir Rebić, signed the Agreement on donating equipment to be used for raising the efficiency and building the capacities of the Gendarmerie Unit – Mounted Police of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, thanked for the donated equipment and pointed out that it was just a small demonstration of cooperation and excellent relations between the two police agencies. The event was also attended by the Republic of Serbia Minister of the Interior, Me Aleksandar Vulin, who pointed out that the police cooperation between the two agencies would be further improved with the aim of raising the security level of the citizens of both the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska. ‘The security and safety of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska are as important to us as the security and safety of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia’, Minister Vulin said.
