The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, met with the new Head of the Banja Luka Regional Office of the European Union Delegation to BIH, Mr Stefano Donati, and the head of EUSR Political Section, Ms Elisabet Tomasinec. As a part of the inaugural visit of Mr Donati to the Ministry, the EU integration process was discussed – the priorities and obligations resulting from the process itself for the Ministry. On this occasion, both Minister Lukač and EU Delegation representatives agreed that there is urgency regarding the establishment of the Joint Contact Point for cooperation with Europol. Additionally, the cooperation between the Ministry and EU Delegation was mentioned, and the conclusion is that there is mutual intention to continue the cooperation.
