The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior Dragan Lukač met today in Belgrade with Republic of Serbia Defence Minister Nebojša Stefanović to discuss the continuation and further progress of co-operation between the two ministries, as well as the possibility of realization of joint training of their members. Minister Lukač noted that he is extremely grateful to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia for its co-operation so far, especially for its assistance in the military education area and reminded that in accordance with the signed Protocol on Education in military educational institutions, members of the Republic of Srpska Interior Ministry are educated at the University of Defence, and that there are currently six cadets of the Republic of Srpska Interior Ministry at the Military Academy in Belgrade. Minister Stefanović said that the Republic of Srpska for Serbia is a strategic partner and that numerous projects have been implemented so far that are of great benefit to the daily lives of citizens. He said that the Defence Ministry and the Serbian Army are ready to intensify co-operation in the coming period, especially in the military education area.
