The Republic of Srpska

Members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior are participating in three days of training for the use of a ballistic system for automatic identification of shells and grains - EVOFINDER, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of France in BiH, in co-operation and with the support of SCANBI and the Embassy of the Republic of France in the Republic of Serbia. Evofinder is a device for scanning digital photographs of bullets and shells in 2 D and 3 D format, which then performs testing, comparison and correlational searches in existing databases, and provides high-quality bullet recording, including those very deformed. The training is the result of co-operation between the RS Ministry of the Interior and the French Embassy in BiH, especially in the area of fighting terrorism and organized crime, with a particular emphasis on the trafficking of illegal weapons and forensics.
