The certificates and red berets were handed out today at the Training Center of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in Zalužani for 15 trainees of the VII class of students who successfully completed their training for police officer-specialist in the Special Antiterrorist Unit of the Ministry of Interior. The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior Dragan Lukač and RS Police Director Siniša Kostrešević attended this ceremony. Minister Lukač said that the new members of the Special Antiterrorist Unit after graduating from the Police Academy went through ten months of demanding training in order to become full members of this unit. "Many who applied failed to pass the selection and training. This group of young guys overcame all the challenges and showed that they can stand in line with the best", concluded Minister Lukač. He emphasized that the Special Antiterrorist Unit is an elite unit of the RS Ministry of Interior and that training for new members of this unit will continue.
