The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, and the Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, attended today in Banja Luka the Exhibition of police weapons and equipment, as the final exhibition in a series of events that were organized on the past month all over the Republic of Srpska. The Minister pointed out that the closing Exhibition of police weapons and equipment was organized in Banja Luka, on occasion of celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Ministry. The Minister mentioned that the purpose of the exhibitions that were organized throughout Srpska was to present to the citizens what the police disposed of. The members of the Ministry were particularly pleased with the fact that young children expressed interest in police work, equipment and weapons. Minister Lukač added that the main objective was mutual cooperation with the citizens and full transparency in police work and equipment, all with the aim of providing security to all the citizens of the Republic of Srpska. During the Exhibition, the citizens had the opportunity to see the equipment and weapons of police officers – Special Anti-Terrorist Unit, Gendarmerie and uniformed police, Gendarmerie units, cavalry and police dogs, police vehicles, as well as armored vehicles Despot and Quad.
